Tellers need writers

Stories surround us, enveloppe our senses and enrich our soul.  These stories come from storytellers / authors who have experienced, witnessed or imagined what they share.
Thomas King is just such a writer.

Author Thomas King has been nominated twice for a Governor-General’s Award.
(Globe and Mail July 19th 2012)

First published in 1989 author Thomas King began his long career with words in A Coyote Columbus Story shortly followed by Green Grass Running Water in 1993.

InconvenientIndian-133.jpgThomas King has contributed to our literary wealth for several years but 2014 has evidently marked him and his talents. The Inconvenient Indian : A curious account of native people in North America published in 2012 is being spoken of in corridors seemingly silent prior to this discourse.  Being selected for the RBC Taylor Prize and shortly after B. C. National Award for Canadian Non-Fiction.
