Tellers need writers

Stories surround us, enveloppe our senses and enrich our soul.  These stories come from storytellers / authors who have experienced, witnessed or imagined what they share.
Thomas King is just such a writer.

Author Thomas King has been nominated twice for a Governor-General’s Award.
(Globe and Mail July 19th 2012)

First published in 1989 author Thomas King began his long career with words in A Coyote Columbus Story shortly followed by Green Grass Running Water in 1993.

InconvenientIndian-133.jpgThomas King has contributed to our literary wealth for several years but 2014 has evidently marked him and his talents. The Inconvenient Indian : A curious account of native people in North America published in 2012 is being spoken of in corridors seemingly silent prior to this discourse.  Being selected for the RBC Taylor Prize and shortly after B. The Library is the one place that won't ask why you are here.  Think of something you might be interested in and you may discover it is your's for the asking.  Words like music have a life of their own and no matter what you enjoy you will find it your public library.

Coming soon to Campbellton Centennial  'The HOLY or the BROKEN authored by Alan Light and published by ARTIA Books this work shares an initmate and personal telling of the famous song by Leonard Cohen 'Hallelujah'.  Of all the people that have made a cover Jeff Buckley is the most unique at the same time the most honest reflection to Cohen's own.
